Definition of Personal Information
Information relating to individual customers (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") refers to information that can identify the individual customer, such as the customer's name, address, telephone number, etc. It also includes information that can identify an individual when combined with other information.
Scope of personal information collected
When CBDA Inc. requests the provision of personal information, it will clearly indicate the purpose in advance. The personal information provided will only be used for the clearly indicated purpose and will not be used for any other purpose without the consent of the individual. The purposes of use of personal information acquired and held by our company will be as follows, in addition to those clearly indicated individually.
- Business partners: for transactions with our company and related communications, and to introduce our products and services
- Shareholders: To exercise rights and fulfill obligations under the Companies Act, to provide information and services regarding shareholder status, and to manage shareholders, such as creating shareholder data in accordance with laws and regulations.
- Job applicants: To provide information and contact job applicants
- To respond to inquiries from the individual
- Other purposes notified individually
CBDA Inc. may share information such as addresses, names, company names, telephone numbers, and email addresses within CBDA Inc. to the extent necessary for the purposes of (1) and (4) above. The person responsible for managing such shared use is the personal information protection manager within CBDA Inc.
Prohibition of provision to third parties
CBDA Inc. will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases: If personal information is provided through joint use or outsourcing, this does not constitute disclosure or provision to a third party.
- When the individual has given their consent
- When disclosure of personal information is required by law, etc.
- When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government, or a person commissioned by them to carry out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual's consent may impede the performance of said duties.
- When providing statistical data after processing it into a state in which individuals cannot be identified
- When providing information in connection with business succession due to merger, company split, business transfer, or other reasons
